Software Design Engineer

Be a core part of the S3Edge engineering team developing a new category of applications called Real Time Visibility Systems (RTVS). S3Edge RTVS will provide cost-effective solutions on Microsoft BizTalk RFID to allow business processes to seamlessly incorporate visibility from the physical world into their decision making. S3's core focus will be on closed loop asset tracking and warehouse visibility in addition to providing solutions for comprehensive connectivity and management of various mobile and fixed readers.

The successful candidate will have good problem solving and analytical skills, and will be hardworking. A bachelor's degree in computer science, or a minimum of 2 years of working in the field of computer technology is a pre-requisite for applying for this position. A thorough knowledge of object oriented programming is required, and a good grasp of data structures is a must. Since most of the development takes place in C#, a knowledge of .NET will be a plus.

Flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential to succeed in S3, we write software that runs on handheld and mobile devices, desktops, and servers. Experience in server development, highly-usable UI development for desktop apps, or mobile development will be an added advantage for the successful candidate.
