Discovery & ROI Analysis: The objective is to obtain a better understanding of the “As-is” process (via a web meetings or face-face sessions) to understand and document where and how RFID and scanning technologies can be used to enhance current operations. A return on investment calculation is also prepared if required.

Planning and Design: A detailed proposal is prepared with a phased delivery approach and timelines to implementing the solution. Typical deliverables also include the overall project plan, schedule, design document and functional and integration test plans.

Customization Services: S3Edge’s professional service staff provide software development, customization and configuration services to extend S3Edge’s Spotlight software with customer specific business logic.  Documentation, training, installation, and legacy system integration services are also available. Customization services are typically provided on a time-and-material basis using an agreed upon statement of work that is signed off by both S3Edge and the client.

Hardware Selection and Deployment Services: S3Edge is a reseller of fixed, and handheld RFID readers and scanners; tags; and other hardware that will be used as part of the solution.  As such, we will provide recommendations for the hardware to be used in the solution. The client may purchase this equipment from S3Edge or directly from the manufacturer or distributors as desired. S3Edge can also assist in deploying and tuning hardware as needed for the deployment.

Project Management: S3Edge manages the project through its complete life cycle to ensure it stays within budget and on schedule. Typical project management activities involve working and co-coordinating with various stakeholders and a cross-functional team to ensure smooth project execution and overall success.

Annual Support Services: S3Edge provides ongoing annual support services for the solution including telephone hotline support, access to bug fix and service pack releases, and access to new feature releases of S3Edge’s Spotlight software.  Annual support services typically begin when the solution goes live a the customer’s site.
